Extrusion Factory was created to enable Interstate Wood and Vinyl Products the ability and confidence to give our customers a consistent and superior polyvinyl chloride (P.V.C.) product. Our resin buyers shop daily for the highest quality at the most affordable cost to ensure that our extrusion factory delivers “what we promise”.

The plant manager, who possesses an engineering degree from Columbia, oversees all aspects of the extrusion process. From the initial step when the resins enter into the vacuum chambers, flowing through our state of the art, environmentally friendly extruders and smoothly proceeding through the proposed tooling die that pre-forms the profile. Next traveling through the calibrations to be vacuum shaped and chilled allowing it to hold its form. The product next enters into a series of negative pressure cooling tanks, allowing the product to maintain a sharp, crisp geometrical profile.

We digitally cut all profiles to the exact specified size. Our handlers then take control and follow a 12-point checklist. They check for quality of shape, color, wall thickness, shine, impact resistance, and make sure we only ship a superior product. Once passing the quality inspection, the packers will then stack, heat wrap and band the product into bundles. These bundles are then labeled and coded and ready to ship.
